HOW TO PUT MOVEMENT IN YOUR ANIMATIONS IN PENCIL ANIMATION SOFTWARE

For planning movement within an animation it is sometimes helpful to make a separate bmp motion layer.

Draw a quick dummy in the shape of whatever you want to move. Use that as a temporary character to get placement and timing and perspective correct. You can turn this dummy layer on and off as you need it. When you get your sketch layer done you can turn it off or delete the motion layer.

If you do not use Pencil Animation software here is a link for you. It's a free open source software and is relatively simple to use. Try it!
